I have 6 brothers and sisters. One of my sisters is blind, which is the inspiration behind what I do. I have 14 nieces and nephews, plus grand nieces and nephews. I also have five beautiful children and two amazing grandchildren. With such a large family, when we have a reunion, there are usually over 100 people there.
I was once in a category 5 hurricane. Our house filled up with water. I ended up hugging a tree to survive. Fact number two: I love the outdoors. I am attempting to hike the entire Appalachian trail (1200 miles). I have made it 200 miles so far – so it may take me another 15 years to finish. Last but not least, I love to cook. I was the only guy in high school to win the Betty Crocker cooking contest.
I enjoy evenings walks with my lovely wife. We always watch the sunset on our walks. I enjoy cooking, so much so that at one point in my childhood, I wanted to be a chef. Now, I guess you could say, I’m my wife’s personal chef.
